The Aquaphobe program is designed to help you overcome your fear of water and regain your confidence in the aquatic world. This program is designed for adults and teenagers with a visceral fear of water.
This adult course focuses on eliminating the fear of water, with the physical mechanics of swimming being secondary. The program aims to teach you how to relax, float, feel happy and control your body in the water in a safe, progressive and stress-free way.

OVERCOME AQUAPHOBIA WITH SWIM STARS
Overcoming aquaphobia with Swim stars is a 12-step approach.
Through these steps, you’ll gain confidence and learn the basics of entering the water, standing, floating, moving and breathing underwater.
Each course must be adapted to the specific needs and level of fear of each individual.
Once a student has completed one stage, he or she moves on to the next, without any time scale or pressure.

ABOUT THE COURSE
At what age can I take adult anti-aquaphobia courses?
It’s a program for teenagers and adults alike.
Course duration?
Classes last 45 minutes.
How many courses do I need?
It depends on the student and his/her progress.
Taught by a qualified Swim Stars coach, each course is tailored to the specific needs and level of fear of each individual. The pace is adapted to the student so that he or she can feel confident and progress at his or her own pace.
Are the coaches in the water?
Coaches are in the water with the student.
How many students per group?
There are 6 students per group.
What equipment should you bring?
For the course, bring a swimsuit, bathing cap, towel, shampoo and snack.
COURSE PROGRESSION
Once all the objectives and stages of the course have been achieved, the student takes a test:
The test consists of :
-enter the water safely and adapt to the environment
-control breathing and feel comfortable with your head in the water
-relax to float on stomach and back without moving
-move from point A to point B without putting feet on the ground
